Reports tell of an increasing shortage of food,  fuel and basics of life, Up to 1.5 million people have fled the country so far. As for the Ukranian nationals already in Canada, they can apply to extend their residence permit as a visitor, worker or student. Those of them who receive a job offer will be allowed to work while their application for a work permit is being processed.
